I can see now I haven't been reading our magazines fully. How did I miss these handy crafty things? This sounds so easy, thanks!
ReplyDeleteI used to do this with my preschoolers and they LOVED it! We also did homemade butter with cream and baby food jars. I love watching kids "discover" new things!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being a Saucy Eats Blog! I love doing ice cream like this with class at school!
ReplyDeleteI used to love making ice cream with my kids. We've done it your way, but we also made it inside a small coffee can inside a big coffee can (with the ice/salt in between). We duct taped it shut and then rolled it up and down the driveway. Very fun, AND yummy!!
ReplyDeleteWe've done so many great variations of this. One that's fun to do is wrap it up with brown paper bag and duct tape, then play toss (obviously an outdoor thing to do). Kids really enjoy making their own ice cream, and you can personalize the flavors too!
ReplyDeleteYum. That sounds pretty easy.
ReplyDeleteEasy recipe ~ My favorite kind!
ReplyDeleteI just made this ice cream last weekend for the 4th! Sometimes I add a squirt of chocolate syrup for chocolate ice cream!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun...my kiddos will love this!
