Here are a few things you should know in making the right decision of whether or not they need to stay home.
-If your child has a fever of 100.4 or higher.
-Has been vomitting
-sore throat
-Productive coughing and sneezing
Some ways to help them in getting better.
-Plenty of rest
-Liquids such as water, soups, juice, and ice
-Cool Humidifier
You may also use Triaminic Thin Strips. They come in three different flavors along with soft chews.
For your very own box of thin strips or soft chews for your little one here is a coupon you may use.
I have been using these for Ian off and on for about a year. Since he was always off the charts in weight and height but under the age dosage on the box, I just cut the strip in half for him. They really helped his coughing (at least the coughing that wasn't asthma related).
ReplyDeleteI do like coupons. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteGreat post Jess, thanks!
ReplyDeleteMisty I'm glad Triaminic was able to help your son's coughing. I work on behalf of Triaminic, and I just wanted to remind everyone that children's cough and cold medicines are safe and effective when used as directed, however, we suggest you follow the new recommendations to not give your child cough and cold medicine if he or she is under 4 years of age.
Take care and stay healthy :)
