My name is April and I am the daughter part of the mother/daughter team that makes up Bijoux Designs For You. I am a new mommy to a beautiful 4 month old baby boy, who keeps me busy AND drinking A LOT of coffee! Maternity leave has, however, given me the opportunity to focus on refining our products, pictures and marketing and getting them out there to our valued customers.

My mom used to own a fabric store and I remember helping her there when I was young. It was always such fun putting together colour combinations and then seeing the finished piece. Mom has done the craft show scene for as long as I can remember. As I grew I graduated from “helper” (aka bagger) to contributor (making what mom told me) to my own designer and partner. Several years ago I took mom to a jewelry making class for her birthday and needless to say a new addiction was born!

I have always been the girly girl, with a serious love of shoes, bags and jewelry but also someone on a budget. We wanted to be able to offer our customers fun pieces at a reasonable price (most of our store is under $20!) We have begun to focus on products that give an outfit a bit of spunk, with bright fun colours, and are something you can wear everyday. Our most popular designs are the Shell and Pearl pieces and we have just started to introduce our Any Day of the Week Collection. We also have plenty of gift items because sometimes just a little treat for yourself or someone else can brighten your day! We have big plans so watch for more great stuff to come!

Here is a look at what she is giving away!! :) I would so buy this for myself. PURPLE! How can I not resist. It's a bookmark and I would use it to mark my place in my Twilight books once I get them or any other book that I have.
