US Residents only please. This will be an all day giveaway! The item she sent me this time is a Fresh Whip Shea in the Raw, whipped shea butter Body Butter, 4 ounces of Pomegranate Blueberry.
I let you know right now that I've never had a whipped lotion before. I LOVE THE FEELING as I'm getting some to rub into my skin. It's hard to describe, I think feels almost like the bubble wrap when you pop it. The smell is light as it is with the soap.

Oh cool! I'm always looking for a new lotion and this one sounds great!
ReplyDeleteI really like this stuff I used once called Hope in a jar but it is pretty darn expensive
ReplyDeleteOne lotion I hate is Eucerine. Everytime I get dry skin my mom says the same thing "you know, there is this great lotion for dry skin. Eucerine. You should try it".
ReplyDeleteI have tried it...I don't like it hahaha
Another really good lotion is the stuff by clinique for irritated skin. Works great in the summer when you get razor burn near the bikini area. It's in a green tub.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite scent for a lotion has always been cucumber melon. Though I am always open to trying new scents (which I have tried other ones...I just really like the crisp, clean smell of cucumber melon)
ReplyDeleteCurrently I am using Johnsons and Johnsons 24 hour moisture baby lotion. Love it! Works great on my dry skin...though I wouldn't say it lasts 24 hours though.
ReplyDeleteI use Eucerin lotion. It's the only thing I've tried so far that helps my dry dry skin. I'd love to try this

I love cucumber melon scented lotion as well... but I bought a cheap brand at the grocery store one time and the smell was so awful I couldn't even get the kids to use it. Hmmm... maybe it was rotten cucumber melon lol.
ReplyDeleteI have the Urban Sudz Fresh Whips COCOALISH body butter on my wists list. It looks so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI have a Vaseline brand lotion that works really well for my dry skin. I don't remember the name of it though... must go look!
ReplyDeleteOh I love cucumber melon lotion. It smells divine!
ReplyDeleteshannipooh@gmail.com
Argh, it's in my room and the little girl I babysit is in there sleeping. I'm positive it's Vaseline, but it's in a blue bottle with a pump lid, I think that's what it's called. My only complaint with it is that the lotion gets gummed up in there once in a while and I have to clean the pump out with a toothpick.
ReplyDeleteI've also bought lotion from the lady behind riggscreations.etsy.com and it worked really well, but I don't know if she lists it on etsy. I know her from the local farmers market.
ReplyDeleteI love the smell of baby lotion too! I wish they could put that scent in an adult lotion because J&J doesn't do much for my skin :(
ReplyDeleteTry soaking the lid in hot water first to soften it up... I think I have that lotion too.
ReplyDeleteI like Silicone Glove by Avon as well.
ReplyDeleteWe have a Chamomile and Lavender baby lotion that is supposed to help calm and relax baby before bed, but I can't tell it does anything different than regular baby lotion.

ReplyDeleteMy cousin uses time on your hands by philosophy and that stuff is great too!

ReplyDeleteI love Mary Kay's Private Spa Collection! Makes my hands feel so nice!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was pregnant with my first kid my MIL swore if I used cocoa butter on my stomach I wouldn't get stretch marks... well I got so huge nothing could have prevented stretch marks lol.
ReplyDeleteI heard the same thing about the Cocoa Butter for stretch marks.
ReplyDeleteOoooh, Philosophy has a coconut body butter that sounds wonderful, but is "currently unavailable". Has anyone tried it? Is the coconut smell strong? How does it work?
ReplyDeleteThe pictures of the whipped body butter on the Urban Sudz site looks good enough to eat!
ReplyDeleteAnd the Urban Sudz site has one of their body butters half price!

ReplyDeleteWow, etsy has a lot of lotion vendors and there are so many scents too!!! Baby powder, cherry lime aide, Eucalyptus...
ReplyDeleteEucerin is a good lotion for exzema. I always get free samples for it at the dr for my daughter. she gets it real bad in the winter.
ReplyDeleteI used to like the Bath & Body Works lotions, but some of them just smell too strong!
ReplyDeletemy mom is a big fan of Rich Moisture lotion from Avon, but they have discontinued it, and now she can't find a lotion she likes.
ReplyDeleteI love Bath & Body Works too, but can never pick just one scent that I really like.

ReplyDeleteChristian Lacroix ROUGE Body Lotion by Avon smells nice as well.
ReplyDeletei have so many bottles and tubes of lotion laying around my house! i guess i need to start using it up lol.
ReplyDeleteWhat made me think of it was one of the Avon reps in my town used to have a whole garage full of avon lotion, cologne, makeup, etc. She'd open the garage doors on weekends when people around her were having yard/garage sales and put up a sign in her yard. I used to think it was the weirdest thing, but one of my aunts always stopped by if she saw the garage door open so she could buy from her. She used to get these little tubes of hand lotion and fingernail polishes for when I'd spend the night with her, it was so fun.
ReplyDeleteMy grandma would take plain lotion and add drops of Vitamin E oil for her hands and feet.
ReplyDeletei know there's non-scented lotions, but they still have somewhat of a scent. lol.
ReplyDeleteI loved the little Avon lipsticks as a kid! I like Wish of Love body lotion too.
ReplyDeleteI've never used an unscented lotion. It didn't even occur to me there was unscented lotions.
ReplyDeleteI love Bath & Body Works County Apple lotion.
ReplyDeleteMy daughters have a drawer in the bathroom of lotions. You never know what they'll come out of the bathroom smelling like after a shower.
