Lemonade Stand Launch Into Summer

Kelly Ripa's doing it again!! Kelly has teamed up with Electrolux to launch The Virtual Lemonade Stand campaign to help support the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.  You can design and open your own stand along with choosing which flavors to sell.  For every lemonade stand that opens www.electroluxappliances.com will donate $1 to OCRF.  To help spread the word they are going to be giving away one of their Electrolux French Door Refrigerators with Perfect Temp Drawer.

Summer Activities

Long time!!   Well lot's of things have happened and lots of things ARE GOING to happen before summer is over!!  Just to recap since Mother's Day.   NOT MUCH!!! LOL Just been getting warmer and warmer, now it's gotten into the 80's.  OH and we've aquired a Red Eared Slider. 

We haven't figured out if it's a she or a he yet and we probably wont ever know for sure.  Connor has named it Turtle!! :) LOL He has gotten so cute about a few things since he started school, which yesterday was the last day of and today is the first day of summer vacation!!

Which leads me to summer activities that are coming up in our life this summer.  There's a lot so here ya go.  Enjoy.

First we will be celebrating my oldest sons fourth birthday, you can read about the birth here.  He has asked for a Power Wheel Four Wheeler, a slip and slide, shirts and shorts along with a few other things that I've forgotten at the moment.  Daddy wrote it all down when he asked Connor what he would like for his birthday.   Daddy will also be decorating the cake as a drag strip and placing Mustangs on it because that what Connor asked for.

Second there's our trip to Michigan for, a family reunion, my moms side of the family.  We will be there hopefully a WHOLE SEVEN DAYS!!!  This will be the first LONG trip both boys will have been on. Connor, my oldest went up with myself and my parents when he was twelve months old and I was four months pregnant with James.  So this trip will definitely be a different experience now that they will be four and two and a half.

Then there will be the little trips to areas near us until school starts back up in August.  Such as the Louisville Zoo and/or the Cincinnati Zoo, one or both of the science museums, then of course the plentiful trips to the park along with some trips to the movies especially on those really HOT days.
