Holiday Blog Party Review and Giveaway: Cover Plug

I am glad to have the opportunity to review this product because it keeps my boys safe from putting anything in the plugs around the house and I wanted to share it with you, my readers.

CoverPlug, from the site "By creating seamless walls, the coverPlug provides a visual and physical barrier to the outlet."

That is exactly what it does. The boys do not even notice the plug because well let's face it, the plug is camouflaged. The surface can be painted to match any color that is on the wall. So if you have a bedroom that is painted blue or pink you just take the color you painted the room with and paint the cover and wahla no mistakes. The wonderful thing about painting them is that the wall will look seamless and that plug wont stick out like a sore thumb.

CoverPlug is also sold in stores check them out here.

Watch how easy it was to put in.

See how easy that was. Sorry about the dirty wall, that's where the dog kennel was before we had our carpets cleaned.

So there you have it. The easy to install cover plug plate, right now Connor is banging on the one that is pictured. So it is a heavy duty cover plug as well.

On to the giveaway, two lucky winners will receive one cover plug each.

For your first entry you must go to Cover Plug's website look around and then come back here and tell me where in your house you would put yours in.

This entry must be done first for the extra entries to count.

  3. i have the original plug covers, the individual ones. they are so hard to get out! i also have a gate on my deck so the baby can't fall down the stairs. and i have the door knob covers so she can't be getting into places she doesn't belong.

  4. I have a non usable outlet in my bathroom that I would put it in-when we bought the house a few years back they re-wired and I was left with an old, unsightly outlet. I hate looking at it, and this is a great option!

  7. I would put this in my daughter's room, of course! She is about to turn two, and we are trying to make her room more of a playroom that she hangs out in, not just sleeps in, so these covers would be great. sugary79@aol.com

Other measures: cabinet locks, baby gates, door knob covers, those tip things that prevent big furniture from tipping. I think there are more but I can't think at the moment.. hmm...

  13. These are very cool. I'd pass it onto my mom who watches my nephew all the time. It would be great for her living room.

  14. I would definitely put it in my living room. That's where I like everything to look sleek and oddly enough where my stinkin' toddler loves to mess with 'em! :)

I would put it in my family room. There is a wall that is right in the hallway and my daughter is always trying to mess with the outlet.
